Florida Buddhist Vihara which was first established in 1997 at a transient location is now housed in a more permanent setting. This 3-acre land with a 4-bedroomed house is conveniently located at 2208 Maydell Drive, Tampa, Florida which is in close proximity to Adamo drive and Crosstown Expressway. In order to purchase this property, we had to combine the funds from the sale of the previous property with the then- existing building construction fund. In addition a mortgage was also required to meet the shortfall.

Owing to the mortgage and insurance costs, Florida Buddhist Vihara now has a monthly financial obligation of about $900. Hence we appeal to our members and well-wishers for their continuous generosity in making consistent donations to meet the above financial need.
